Wether they're in the same dwelling as you or if you choose to do this remotely. Send them a list of times, as many or few as you want (with in some reason, unless they're off the next day....) set times they have to email you, with a subject line that states something to the effect of "Sir/Ma'am i'm sending Your requested eamil for XXXX time" . Most of us have smart phones, if not then it gets harder, maybe take away their smart phone? They must email you the minute it's due, not one before not one after. For each minute before/after set time it's a punishment stroke, if one is missed it's X number.

Example: slave a's list is

12am
1:30am
3:30am
4am
6:30am

So if they have a smart phone they can set a list of alarms and do the email from their sleeping area, if not they have to wake up, go to the computer, do the email and remember to reset their 'old fashioned' alarm clock. Now that I think about it, take away their smart phone.
