I'm confused what the point of this is.

Also, the pyramids were not built by slaves, they were built by Egyptian men who were forced to do it, but were not owned, and were paid substantially in bread and beer. And if you think the Israelites built the pyramids that's wrong too, as they were in Egypt about 1,000 years later.

True, taxes were paid in the form of labour, so you worked for the state for a set period to pay your tax. Workers were often these although I would think slaves were also used to support the workers as the Egyptians had plenty of those as well.

I saw the same documentery recently lol. Beer and bread, so they were always half cut, wonder the pyramids turned out so well with a drunk workforce lol.
