Spy Movies

I've noticed American spy movies always makes the bad guy a Russian spy, and it's always an ugly scary looking Russian. A few months ago some movie came out where some girl was trained by her father to be a killer/assassin, she looks Russian in the movie (turns out she really is Russian). Do the Russians make spy movies with the bad guy being an ugly scary American?

Correction: The movie I described was Hanna,. The girl isn't Russian, I don't know what movie I'm thinking of now. I apologize. Ass soon as I think of it I will post it.

Russians, Do they look evil?

lol no, i dont think so. it's just how they make them look in the movies so you know they are the bad person.

Hm, makes me wonder: is the cold war really over duh duh DUM!

But really I love a good spy movie, alot of American popcorn flicks also seem cast British villains as well. Not really sure what that says about our american psyche.

Yeah, it is because a lot of those movies were made during the Cold War or with people still thinking about.

A lot of Americans were scared to death of Russia for quite a while.

Yeah, I had looked that movie up awhile ago and had gotten it confused with another name. I don't remember what movie or girl I'm thinking of.
