Bought some ginger root today...

So having heard about the interesting/frightening aspects of "figging" before, I picked up two very nice fingers of ginger root at the supermarket today when i stumbled across them. I want to try figging but I'm worried i will cop out and remove the ginger right away if the choice is entirely mine. Sooo.. i need your help!

I am looking for suggestions on how to use it and accepting dares. I will be doing the dares/suggestions relatively soon (within an hour or two of being posted hopefully) and will try to post/PM reports.
