here is what I found -

Arguments abound on the origins of the name Boxing Day. All the answers below are valid, so maybe it is one, or even all of them.

1) A ‘Christmas Box’ in Britain is a name for a Christmas present. Boxing Day was traditionally a day off for servants and the day when they received a ‘Christmas Box’ from the master. The servants would also go home on Boxing Day to give ‘Christmas Boxes’ to their families.

2) A box to collect money for the poor traditionally and placed in Churches on Christmas day and opened the next day - Boxing Day.

3) Great sailing ships when setting sail would have a sealed box containing money on board for good luck. Were the voyage a success, the box was given to a priest, opened at Christmas and the contents then given to the poor.

Yeah, most businesses are closed except for retail. I have heard that holiday entitlement is not very generous in the USA.

1) I find push up bra's the most comfortable while giving some support but I do like some t-shirt bra's too, and probably hipster panties. I do like sexy black set's.

2) oh hard, particularly as I don't have much sense of taste. Hmm like chocolate cookies I think.

3) very hard, Depends if I would have the knowledge I have now, if not, things would most likely just repeat exactly as they did the first time. If I could take my knowledge with me and do things differently then probably my time at university, as I'd know not to trust the guy who hurt me so bad.

That would be nice! Yea I have heard some European countries get an amazing amount of time off for the holidays, especially Denmark if i remember correctly. I've worked for places that are closed the entire time between Christmas and News Years but my present job we're only closed Christmas and New Years Day.

Yes, I went down to London with Matt on New year's eve, spent 1 night there and met up with Lucy too

Mainly just seeing the sites, watching the new year fireworks. Did have a bit of fun with Matt in the Bed & breakfast A few very small things with Lucy while out too...

Not really got any major plans this year yet. Like to get some stuff done on house and garden. Other idea's but nothing for certain.

I'd like to have some patio doors put in my dinning room and have a utility room built by the Kitchen for a bit more space.
