I got home and I just couldn't take the tension, I stripped and got straight back in my corner on my knees with a timer set.

I was so nervous that one of the girls was going to jump in before I was done that I left no time to spare and I'm now typing this out as fast as I can.

I just climbed a hill to get home and the weather is pretty nice out so I was sweating already. naked in the corner I could smell my sweat, I really need a shower.

I watched a bug climb down the wall in front of my face, a little too close for comfort so I blew at it until it fell to the ground.

I spent the time again thinking more about the details of the story I'm writing and generally being worried that I was going to be too late yet again to put the boys in the lead.

At one point I leaned back just slightly and by chance managed to catch the reflection of my laptop in the mirror which should have shown the timer. Instead the screen was black. Thinking that I had fucked up I didn't know what else to do but get up and check. It turned out the screen was off but the timer was still running and there was less than three minutes to go!

In a way that was lucky because with this being my third attempt it means that those three minutes were only equal 1 minute to be added to the boys time. I tried get us 1 minute ahead, instead I managed to match us exactly. The girls are no longer in the lead, I hope that counts to stop us losing today XD

edit: I checked the wording and it says "competition closes if one team has the lead for 7 days." The girls no longer have the lead so I guess that makes us safe for now.

Nope, no lead change. But getting that 1 minute is doable.

There is a 5 ,minute minimum stand time

Fair enough, you're the boss. I went back to the corner just to get those 5 minutes done. Since this is my 4th time in the corner, it only counts for 1/4. I'd call that 1 minute but again, you're in charge so if you want to round up, I'm not going to complain :P

It's quite hard to give a report on such a small time but I will say this, even 5 minutes of corner time is tough when there's something like this hanging on the line. I tried just counting it out but couldn't even focus on that for five minutes so I basically spent the time deciding what to write here so I could quickly dash back and do that. My heart was racing and I suddenly realised I was getting cold again. I've never considered corner time exciting before but the competition certainly makes it more so. Finally after struggling for almost a full 7 days the boys are back in the lead.

I checked everyhting And unless i did something wrong i can confirm elf ears is right:

Sooooo....
Girls did not win, the competion is over after 7days without lead change.
Boys did not win either.
A new period of 7 days starts.
If They keep on top for 7 days they Will have won.

Having Said that...

A big big big compliment to both teams.
I’m impressed.
Not sure how this continues.
Definitely this was a real Tense fight with unexpected changes.

I am really impressed by both the boys and girls on this fight.
It will be really difficult to regain that enthusiasm for a next round.
