I was considered both silly and weird when I decided to start my own trucking company. As a woman in an extremely male dominated industry I was ridiculed by those men in the industry and told I was stupid and friends thought me weird to choose that industry.

I’m very proud however that now I run my own company hauling stuff 90% of Male drivers would run crying away from and have an excellent reputation in the industry at what I and my company does.

I was immeasurably proud when I heard one of the men who doubted me simply for being a girl recommending my company to another guy and when he scoffed and said but there mostly girl drivers. His response was if you got a difficult job you want those girls!

I drive a Mercedes Actross MPIV, with a custom extended cab. I have 8x4/4 chassis, that means I have 8 wheels four of which are powered and four steer (the front four steer).
