A family of four walked past them going in the opposite direction. The mother didn’t notice Yumi dressed in a poncho as she we more concerned with her two kids arguing but Yumi noticed that the father looked then looked away for a few seconds to see if his wife was watching then looked back at Yumi again. “Um, ok.” Yumi replied not having a lot of choice in the matter as Olivia disappeared and returned a few minutes later with a pair of roller blades and sat them on the seat next to Yumi.

“Remember Olivia said to her, you have to skate the entire length of the pier and back. Now give me your thong”

Frowning and feeling a little afraid Yumi stepped out from between the shops and into the open looking around to see who was near her. She could see a group to teenage girls down the pier a little but they were too busy to notice her standing there only in a poncho and roller blades.
