So Google+ is apparently supposed to be facebooks new rival.
I'm not entirely sure what I think about it yet, there are a lot of interesting and awesome features, but who knows where it's going.

Do you have a google+ account/do you intend to sign up for one?
If you have one, what do you like about it?
If you don't and you want one, what features are you interested in?
Any opinions on google v. facebook?

It's a copy cat facebook...

No, I will never get an account on it. Facebook is enough, why talk to friends on seperate sites at the same time? It's ridiculous.

Umm... I looked at it and I'm still not sure how it works. One of my friends said it's possible to do cam stuff on there. If thats true, then it's definitely facebook's rival.

In googles own words, it's all about sharing.
It's like a cros between Facebook and twitter from what I've seen.

Looking into it more. No I won't. It'll probably stay invite only for a while think of gmail it was invite only for years. Only way I would use it is if Facebook charged money.

The last time Google tried to rival Facebook, they failed. Miserably.

As will probably happen again.

It used to go: Bebo ---> MySpace ---> Facebook.

Now, I guess it'll always be Facebook.

Anyway, IMO, Google can fuck off as they've already helped ruin YouTube.

i agree with you that google has ruined youtube but i think maybe this new google+ might have a chance. i think it would be interesting to see how it goes

That's already been done - I use my Tumblr way more than my Facebook.

I like tumblr and the only reason I use it is to rant about people on my facebook lol. I have a total of 20 something followers on tumblr and 300 something friends on FB. So, both have their pros and cons.

As for Google + it would be more interesting with more people. Like I said, it has a cam/web chat thing and that would be perfect for me because I have friends scattered all over the state.
