[Fiction] Paying a Debt With His Clothes

He stared blankly at the cards in front of him. There was the money needed to pay this months bills laid out on the table. It was a game of poker he'd try to bluff his way through but this time it was too far.


She sat across from him giving nothing away, for all he knew she could have had a worse hand.


Either way the odds were not in his favour and he looked at the 2 of hearts and 4 of spades in front of him. Then he hear the words that made him and she uttered the words he was hoping not to hear, "Call"............


He had no choice at this stage but do to likewise and laid his cards on the table. She looked at him with a wicked grin and put her hand down. It was a pair of Kings.


Even if he had a better hand it was unlikely he'd of beaten her, there was only one high card also on the table.....another king.


Kate: Better look next time *as she swooped up her winnings*


Harry: But............


Kate: Oh come on, you lost fair and square


Harry: I need that money for bills


Kate: Then you shouldn't have bet it


Harry: I know but I was sure I could get away with bluffing one more time


Kate: Well I guess it's just not your day


Harry: Please I need that money back


Kate: What if I did give it back to you? What's in it for me?


Harry: What do you mean?


Kate: I mean if I'm giving you what I've won, I need to get something in return


Harry: Like what?


Kate: Your clothes


Harry: So you want me to strip for you?


Kate: Yes to start with


Harry: Start with?


Kate: Consider it a deposit


Harry: What else will I have to do to pay off my debt?


Kate: Strip first, then we'll talk


Harry: I'm not sure about this


Kate: Oh come on you told me before you have a fantasy about stripping for a woman.


Harry: Yes but this is different


Kate: Okay fine, I guess you'll have to find another way to pay off your bills then


Harry: Wait, I'll do it


Kate: Okay get cracking


*Kate sits down on her couch ready for the show ahead*


Harry: Okay here goes


*He starts by taking off his t-shirt and figuring it was best to just get it over with, most everything else came off pretty quickly. His shoes and socks went off nice and quick, as well even his jeans. Then standing in just his underwear he got a bit of cold feet*


Kate: What's the matter?


Harry: Just give me a minute


Kate: Oh gwan just one more thing and you're done


Harry: Okay


*And with that he pulls his underwear swifty down his legs and left them with the rest of his clothes*


Kate: Very nice, now pass them over here


Harry: Okay


*He obliges with the command*


Harry: When can I get dressed?


Kate: I'll let you know, I'm keeping these as a trophy though


Harry: A trophy?


Kate: You best get comfortable, you aren't getting dressed till I tell you.


*With that Kate brought Harry's clothes upstairs and locked them in a small wooden box*


Harry: I assume this means I'm sleeping here tonight


Kate: You are welcome to leave if you wish but I'm not giving you anything to cover with


Harry: Where will I sleep?


Kate: I have a guest room


*Harry found it hard to sleep, although it was at that moment that he realised sleeping naked would be quite comfortable. Eventually he dozed off once he had forgotten about the night's events.*

I'm glad you liked and I do plan on adding some more. The spacing was actually done by accident, I had written it out in Word and copied it over and I decided to just leave it as it was.

I did used to write with much less spacing but I think this makes it easier to read.

Well, maybe you can use a bit less spacing, but as long as you have some it's great for a quick read!

Ah no I prefer it as it is now. Just a little heads up though. I'll probably write the next part tomorrow and post it but after that it's more than likely going to be about another week before I post the next part after that.

*Harry awoke the next morning hoping the events of the night before would just be a memory but soon after Kate joined him in the guest room*


Kate: Good Morning


Harry: Morning


Kate: So are you planning on getting up soon


Harry: Yeah......


Kate: Well come on, chop chop


Harry: I'm still naked........


Kate: I know


Harry: Do you mind waiting for me to get dressed?


Kate: Oh you aren't doing that yet


Harry: But I thought I'd paid off my debt?


Kate: Oh last night was only the start, so come on get up I'm getting hungry


Harry: Oh ok, what's for breakfast?


Kate: I was hoping you would know


Harry: What you mean?


Kate: Your next task is making breakfast


*Harry figured there wasn't much point is wasting anymore time. After all Kate had seen all of him last night. As he pulled the covers clear he seen Kate's face light up a bit. She clearly was enjoying every minute. The thing that struck him next was the chilly morning air. Another reminder of how exposed he was. It may have been the middle of summer but they living in the UK so it was still a bit cold that particular morning.


Harry proceeded on going downstairs, he entered the kitchen and was greeted by the cold tiles under his feet. The constant reminders kept coming and it took him time to get heated up.*


Harry: So what are you in the mood of?


Kate: I don't know, what did you have in mind?


Harry: I can only really do scrambled eggs and toast


Kate: Then why ask?


Harry: Just being polite


Kate: I hope you know that it won't mean I'll let you get dressed earlier but thank you all the same.


*Harry stood making their breakfast as Kate continued with her eyes fixed on him. He was trying to be careful of splash back from the pan. The sounds of the morning were beginning to make an appearance. Birds chirping, wind blowing and the men collecting the bins. He began to think that this wasn't so bad but then he looked at Kate. For some reason the look she gave him made him feel less comfortable.*


Harry: Almost done


Kate: Great, I'm starving


Harry: Hope you enjoy


Kate: I'm sure I will, Oh I was wondering could you take in my bins for me?


Harry: Kate I can't do that


Kate: Why not?


Harry: I'm naked


Kate: Well Harry it wasn't really a question, after you have your breakfast I want you to go do it


*They sat down for their first meal of the day but Harry had lost his appetite. He kept wondering if Kate was really serious about bringing the bins in. It was broad daylight, anyone could pass by and see him. As they finished their meal and naturally Harry did the washing up. He had gotten up and started doing it without being told hoping that Kate would be kind to him.*


Kate: Thanks Harry, I probably would have asked anyway.


Harry: It's no problem


Kate: Looks like my bins have been emptied and all


Harry: Kate please don't make me do it


Kate: Oh come on, it'll only take you a few minutes


Harry: I know but I'm scared


Kate: Of what?


Harry: Being seen


Kate: Listen, I have some ideas of how I want you to pay off this debt but if you aren't interested, you can go home now. Although I'm not allowing you to go home clothed. Trust me it'll be easier for you to just do what you're told


Harry: Okay


*There was a sound of resignation in Harry's voice. He knew Kate held all the cards and he'd just have to go along with what she said. It was time to just grin and bear it.


He went to the door intending on carrying out his next task but standing at the door, he couldn't bring himself to opening it*


Kate: Am I going to have to do it?


*Harry nodded*


Kate: Okay fine, look don't worry it will be over before you know it.


*Kate opened the door and with it more fear grew in Harry's heart. The driveway leading out wasn't really that long but felt like an unending path to his eyes. He could see the bins at the end though and decided to focus on them. As he creeped his way out his nerves didn't ease. Using Kate's car as cover as he went. It was still so cold as well but that wasn't his main concern. The path below him wasn't terribly smooth and occasionally a stone would job into his foot. It wasn't really painful but in barefeet, it wasn't exactly comfortable. He reached the end of the path and reached out for one of Kate's bins. His hands were shaking and made it difficult to grasp the handle. As he looked around, he seen no one.


The walk back to Kate's house wasn't quite as bad but he knew he'd have to do this round trip once more. He tried his best to get through as quick as he could.*


Kate: Hey careful, don't scratch my car


*Harry then slowed as he passed Kate's car, it was agony as he was making good progress. He reached the end and sat the bin in her side entrance and turned to face the task again. This morning seemed surprisely quiet. He assessed the task again and decided that speed was of the essence. This time he didn't bothered cowering behind Kate's car, as he got braver strolling down the path the fears he had took a backseat for a moment. Only a moment grant you. As his hand reached the second bin something told him to take another look around. Then horror struck, he seen a jogger coming down the road. It was at this time it probably would have been better for Harry to just hurry up and bring the bin in but he just stood there. The jogger past with a rather bemused look on her face, didn't happen to mention anything about Harry's state of undress. It took him another moment to get over the shock and then Kate called out to him.*


Kate: Come on get moving, unless you like people seeing you


Harry: Sorry, just give me a minute


That then brought Harry back to reality and then got on with what he needed to get done. This was certainly the most stressed he'd been taking the bins in. This time passing Kate's car once again he hid for cover and put it with the other bin in the side entrance.*


Kate: It's done now, come on get inside you look cold


Harry: I'm bloody freezing


*As he entered the house it was then he grew to appreciate central heating. He was shaking, although it's not sure whether that was from the cold or the whole ordeal taking it's toll.*


Kate: God you'll need to buck up, I have more things planned for you


Harry: I hope they won't be as hard as that


Kate: I cannot guarantee that. I need to get my money's worth


Harry: Since my bills won't pay themselves, I'll have to oblige.


Kate: Indeed you will.

*After a few hours Kate returned home and she seemed to be in a good mood. Harry tried his best to be chatty, hoping that maybe lots of conversation would mean Kate wouldn't have remembered what happened earlier. This was assuming she even got the text.*


Harry: How was your day?


Kate: Great thanks


Harry: You seem in a good mood


Kate: I am, just had a good day


Harry: Oh right, was a good day in the office so?


Kate: Not really. I'm just in a good mood in general.


Harry: Ah ok


*They headed into the kitchen and Kate marveled at Harry's handy work.*


Kate: Wow this is fantastic, for a guy you aren't a bad cleaner


Harry: Thank you


Kate: How about we just sit and watch some tv for a bit, I'm quite tired after work


Harry: Okay


*They sat down to watch the evenings television and Harry began to relax a bit. He figured since she hadn't mentioned anything, that she must not have gotten the message. Kate most of this time on her phone but this wasn't unusual. She was a very social person and like any woman spent quite a good amount of time chatting to her friends. After an hour or so though she put the phone and looked at Harry.*


Kate: Come upstairs, there's something I want to show you


Harry: What is it?


Kate: Just come and you will find out soon.


*The pair of them headed up to Kate's room. On his way, Harry had all sorts of thoughts running through his brain. He wondered if he had put everything back in place and whether the door was even a little bit open before he went in. It didn't seem to matter because she didn't say anything about things being out of place.*


Kate: Okay this what I wanted to show you


Harry: A bow tie?


Kate: Yes


Harry: Why did you want to show me this?


Kate: Because I want you to wear it


Harry: Okay no problem but why?


Kate: Well you see I got a text on my phone today......


Harry: Oh


Kate: Now I said I'd find a way to punish you and I couldn't think of anything good


Harry: Oh well I am really sorry, you don't have to punish me. I can make it up to you another way.


Kate: Easy now. I had a conversation with the girls from work and they thought it was so amusing that I had you naked in my house. They also mentioned that we had planned to have a little get together. A girly night in if you will.


Harry: Oh no......


Kate: So I figured, why not combine both. So the idea we came up with was that we would still have our night in but with you as our naked butler, save for a bowtie I might add.


Harry: Please Kate I'm so sorry, anything but that


Kate: Anything? I could just leave you outside. I'm under no obligation to keep you here and I'm not forcing you to stay.


Harry: Okay maybe not that


Kate: So it's settled then, get yourself ready. I'm sure it won't take too long anyway.


Harry: But


Kate: Let me guess cold feet?


Harry: Yeah I don't want them to see me


Kate: Well you better start getting comfortable with the idea cause they'll be here in a few hours. Either that or head home, your choice


Harry: Okay I'll stay


Kate: That's more like it. Okay how about you put some wine in the fridge and lay out some snacks for our guests. I'm going to head upstairs to get ready.


*With that Kate disappeared up to her room. Harry busied himself with getting the refreshments and snacks ready for the evening ahead. It kept him busy but he couldn't shake the thought of what was coming. He just wanted this whole thing to be over and get dressed. It was so stupid of him to make such a stupid but it made so much sense at the time. He was certainly paying for that mistake now.*

*Kate came back down after getting showered and dressed. She was dressed fairly casual, sleeveless top and jeans. It was still far more covered than Harry.*


Kate: Right so, is everything ready?


Harry: Yes I laid out the snacks on the table and the wine is in the fridge.


Kate: Perfect, okay head upstairs they'll be here soon.


Harry: Why? I thought you wanted them to see me?


Kate: Oh of course I want them to see you but I want you to have a good entrance


*This made Harry even more nervous, it was bad enough that all of the girls from Kate's office were going to see him naked all night. He was to be unveiled like some prize in a gameshow.*


Kate: Don't worry, it'll be fun


Harry: Easy for you to say


Kate: Go on, head up and call up when everyone's here


Harry: Okay


*Harry waited in Kate's room, it was like he was on death row. Although instead of dying, he'd be showing off his birthday suit. He kept thinking and hoping this was all a bad dream that would wake up from soon. It wouldn't be as bad it being all women he told himself. He started to warm to the idea a bit and then the doorbell rang. Then his stomach went into knots and all he wanted to do was throw up. He could hear guest after guest arriving, it was never ending. There must have been about 10 women downstairs waiting for him and then he heard Kate calling him to come downstairs.*


Kate: Come on, we don't have all night


Harry: Just a minute


Kate: Oh for pete's sake


*Kate then promptly heading upstairs to find out what was taking Harry so long.*


Harry: Just give me a minute


Kate: What's wrong?


Harry: I'm just so nervous


Kate: Look I know it's hard but you have guests down there that I promised could see you


Harry: I know but I'm terrified


Kate: Hey just come downstairs, they are all the sitting room. I'll help you, take my hand.


Harry: Okay


*Harry took her hand as she directed him downstairs. The reached the door of the sitting room and without any hesitation Kate opened the sitting room door. It was like ripping off a plaster, although that didn't calm his nerves. He was still shaking as he entered the room with all eyes on him. Kate let go of his hand and went to sit down but he just stood nervously in the corner. He was trying to cover himself best he could but his hands were shaking so much that it was difficult to.*


Kate: Come on don't be shy


Harry: Bu, bu, but


Kate: Better off just getting comfortable, we've all seen you now


Harry: Okay


*Harry reluctantly removed his hands from covered himself and tried his best to act as natural as he could. It was so difficult with all the eyes of the room fixed on him.*


Kate: Come on sit down, it's okay


Harry: Okay


*Harry sat down next to Kate in a gap between all the ladies. They all still crowded around, all amazed at what they were seeing. Although I think some were feeling sorry for poor Harry.*


Leslie: Maybe this isn't a good idea Kate?


Kate: Why do you think that?


Leslie: He's clearly not comfortable


Kate: Ah he'll be fine, isn't that right Harry?


Harry: Yeah I'm okay, nice to meet you ladies


*All them replied with a quick hi. It was clearly very awkward but Harry was determined to push through, he figured that he had already been seen by them all so no harm in just continuing the night. It was time for him to just get on with it, so he stood up and got to work.*


Harry: Right anyone want a glass of wine?


*All the girls replied yes that they would and he disappeared into the kitchen to fix them all a drink.*

Harry: How can I agree if I don't know what it is?

Kate: That's the fun of it

*He pondered it for a bit and figured it was worth a little more embarrassment to get his clothes earlier.*

Harry: Okay fine, it's a deal

Kate: Shake on it?

*They shook hands and she revealed a devilish grin which made his heart sink because he knew she had something special planned.*

Harry: Okay so what's the final task you want me to do?

Kate: It's going to be a walk in the park

Harry: Really? Why do you think it'll be easy?

Kate: I don't think you heard me correctly

Harry: I'm just waiting for you to tell me what I'm to do

Kate: I've told you, a walk in the park

*A look of horror covered his face as the thought sank in. She intended him to walk in a park butt naked.*

Harry: Oh please Kate, I can't do that

Kate: Well you are going to have to, a deal is a deal

Harry: I'll do most anything but I think that is just too much

Kate: Hey it's not as bad as you think

Harry: How so?

Kate: I'll let you do it at night time

Harry: Okay that is better

Kate: Great, I'll get you to do it tonight then?

Harry: That's not what I meant

Kate: Come on Harry, It'll only be short I swear

Harry: And I'll get my clothes back after?

Kate: Yes

Harry: Okay, how long will it be for?

Kate: Not long but I'm not telling you exactly how long, got to keep it interesting

Harry: Fair enough, I'll just be glad to get it done and over with
