However, I can't see who or what could fulfill this:

Puzzle 2: Even though I did not appear in the movie, I received a lot of attention for it. Who am I?

Excellent work Marv and Sea. The movie is in fact GoldenEye. Though clue number 3 is just that, "see" (leading you to eye). But connect satisfies the puzzle too.

Now for the last part of the puzzle.

A. https://imgur.com/a/41mky
B. https://imgur.com/a/g58Nz
C. https://imgur.com/a/4ybeY

These last 3 clues will lead you to who gained the attention from the film. Good luck!

I think the red dot may refer to the targetting of the space weapon in GoldenEye. I can't remember which character was principally responsible for that.

I have to leave this for a while.

Default Hint

Since we seem to be at a stand still, here is a hint.
For clue A, think of 3 letters that are often associated with that image. The answer is not 3 letters though.

For clue C, think of what that image could be used for.
Hope this helps!

Default Puzzle 2 Solved

Yes, thank you. This one has been killing me.

Image A is a red dot on a black background, and the 3 letters associated with this are REC.

Image B is of a notepad. Note is the key there.

Image C is of a silvery-white fabric. Fabric can be used to make clothes.

All of this leads you to "GoldenEye" by Tina Turner. Tina Turner sang the theme song for this movie, and in the music video she wears a lovely silvery-white dress.

Even though Turner was not in the movie directly, she gained a lot of attention from the movie due to the theme song.

I would join in, but so far I've not got a single clue right, I spent half an hour thinking the goldeneye clues were leading towards the godfather... I am really enjoying lurking and trying to figure it out myself, though, so keep it up

Feel free to join in, the more the merrier! Even if you feel like you won't get any clues, don't worry about it. Your thought process is very valuable in these kinds of puzzles, even if you don't get to the implied conclusion. Often times the wrong guess leads straight to the right one (I can attest from personal experience. I usually guess wrong more than I guess right )

Remember, each puzzle is a new challenge. I'm sure you'll do great on this next one!

P.S. I'll be posting a new puzzle with a different method for solving in the morning.

Default Puzzle 3

Puzzle 3: This film is based on a novel and combines elements of the past and present. What is its name?

This puzzle is a bit different from the others. Each image is a clue that will lead you to the title of the movie you need to guess. Each image also tells you how many letters make up the answer.

You’ll also notice a blue highlight on certain blanks. These letters will help you find the answer to the puzzle. After you solve all 7 clues, assemble a list of the letters highlighted in blue. From these letters you will be able to spell the name of the movie.

Each image will pertain to the movie itself (not the title). Some will be obvious; others will require some out of the box thinking. Hints are available upon request.

  4. https://imgur.com/a/Co8YV (3 word) the arrows indicate the letter you need since I couldn’t get color to work for some reason

If you really enjoy a particular puzzle style (how the puzzle is solved), let me know. I am trying to change each puzzle to find a flow that works best for this dynamic.
