1. Tell us about yourself. Who are you?
Embii, or just Em, I'm 14 (I realise this reduces my chances but oh well) (used to be xXx Angel xXx) but I usually feel much, much older, I live in England. I'm pretty clever, I like literature, art and music. I like things to be organized and I think I have OCD. I think I think differently to most people. I don’t lie unless it’s blatant. I overuse certain phrases and am so scared of overusing other phrases that I never say them. I love tea, heights and making people laugh. I don't like clusters of asymetric holes, high-necks or writing about myself >.>

2. What have you used the site for during the time you've been a member?
After joining for all the wrong reasons, mainly meeting to/chatting to/getting to know people and reading around, learning, expanding my knowledge as much as possible. I took a break a little while ago but I'm back now (:

3. How have you personally contributed to the website?
I've reported threads in the past, for being on the wrong place or asking for pictures or something else against the rules. I also try to (and have in the past) helped out anyone who i think might need it, or who asks for some help, whether they're new, getting into something too fast, inexperienced, or anything else that means I for one worry about them, I try to help them as much as I can then point them in the right direction, making sure they stafe safe and so on. I also point people the right way when I'm in the chat.

4. Why should we select you as a moderator on getDare.com?
Being a teenager that doesn't particularly like socialising, I have quite a lot of free time. I am actually really patient, but am assertive and don't put up with, for want of a better word, bullshit. I'm open-minded, I try to be nice, I am a quick learner. I'd really like the oppurtunity, I owe a lot to this site, having been here for so long, and I'd love to be able to help out more, and give something back, if that makes sense.

5. What is something really embarrassing about you that isn't publicly known?
Don't really see the point of this, but all in the name of fun, um, I get panic attacks? I have to use sleeping tablets to get a proper night's sleep? I always sing really loudly when I'm home alone? I don't really have any secrets that I'd consider embarassing, not any I'm going to post publicly anyway.

No, you were super nice to me when I joined. Like ridiculously nice, as in nicer than I would have been if I had been in your situation. And had I not stopped logging on I'm sure you would have continued being nice. Oh, and your writing is amazing, and no good author is a dickhead.

My name is Parker (at least thats the only name I will reveal.) I'm 25 years old and currently seeking full time employment. I consider myself a nice guy and try to be kind and respectful towards everyone.

Im Glue, in 21 from Oxford in the UK. I have now been on getdare for 5 years and have enjoyed every moment. At the begining and along the way i have been a bad boy and broken some rules, but i have learnt from these.

I have used this site for everything from finding good truths to dicovering new dares. Getdare has helped me become the Glue i am today.

I have learnt from the older days what is wrong and what is right, so i feel i could bring this to Getdare, to make sure Newbies are put right, like i was.

Im Masterpain, Im a 31y/o guy from alberta canada, I've been a member of getdare for a rather long time. I am a Dom. Im applying because I have time to kill and generaly do keep an eye out for any wrongness.

2. What have you used the site for during the time you've been a member? to kill time mostly, take a break and chat. express views. i tend to come and go often. i have made several long lasting friendships over the years.

Well for the people who are active on this site may already know me. My name is Gin. I've been on this site since '09 and have enjoyed my stay here ever since. I can honestly say Getdare has been one of the most entertaining sites I've been on for a long time. It's probably the only site that I find myself visiting on a day to day bases. My personal life is pretty much laid on on my blog, but in a nutshell for the people who haven't known me very long, I'm a pretty laid back guy. I'm an activist in the lifestyle of BDSM and have made it become a way of life for me. I've been an active Dom in the lifestyle ever since I've been a teenager and can say I've never regretted the decision of joining it. Discovering and being apart of the BDSM lifestyle has been one of the greatest things I've done in my life, as it's one of the few things I've been passionate about. Regarding my involvement in BDSM include has been limited to online only, although I've had my offline experiences (ironically enough, someone whom I met here and dominated up in real life.)

2. What have you used the site for during the time you've been a member?
During my early involvement in the lifestyle of BDSM I'd constantly found myself turning to chat rooms looking for someone who could teach me more about what it was like to dominate someone. Then I stumbled upon this website. I've probably one the greatest websites on the net when trying to find an online slave, and that's what I love most about it. I originally came here to find an online slave and since my enrollment in 09' til a few months back, I've been searching for the right one. It's been a loooong and grueling search looking for the right slave for me. I'm sure that you people who have been here a long time have seen my ad and probably sick of looking at it, since I'd posted and posted and posted every month lol. In the current standings of right now, I think I've found the right slave for me (Thank you GD members for your support), but if you see my ad again, you'll know if it lasted or not. In regards to the TorD section of this website, I've never really found myself too incredibility involved in participating in Truth or dares, although I will admit I'd done a few here and there.


3. How have you personally contributed to the website?
Of course! I am completely dedicated to helping people better understand themselves in BDSM lifestlye. I've just recently opened a class that allows people who are interested in learning more about BDSM and discovering if it's something that they want to do. It's goal is to make sure they don't end up finding a bad experiences and hopefully helping them to experiencing the lifestyle of BDSM for what it's worth. Since it's started last week, I've already got a 4 members . In the past, I've always tried to participate in questions that people had in the lifestyle by offering advice. I often go on the ad section and give people support for their efforts if I see a great ad. And in general trying to make new people feel welcome. I've also supported this site financially by contributing to a 1 year subscription.

4. Why should we select you as a moderator on getDare.com?
To be honest, from the good experiences to the bad experiences that I've had on this website, I've always been a loyal member. I've never given up on my search for a slave and never looked anywhere else. I've gotten privileged access to the elite membership and M/s membership. In general, I feel I got what it takes. I'm defiantly not perfect and can be hot headed sometimes, but I'm always quick to say I'm sorry. I try to be as understanding as possible also be open minded and fair when making group decisions. As an active Master, I also know what it means to not tolerate non-since and know when the proper time to disciplined is in order. All-in-all, I just want to see if I'll be privileged the importunity to take on this responsibility.

5. What is something really embarrassing about you that isn't publicly known?
I'm about to share something that I'm sure only a few of you moderators know about. This is something that I'm not proud that about and is something that had happened a few years back or so, which lead to a level 4 infraction and also on the brink of being banned permanently. I had posted and ad on the ad section and had used a second account to support my ad. When I'd received negative feedback on my ad, i'd use the second account to portray a user that would show hostility for the negative response to the other users, and in doing so I'd insulted a staff member. A mistake I've learned from and regretted since then. An embarrassing confession in itself.

We've bumped heads before, and I feel you and I both can be short tempered a time, as the past has shown, but I've feel we are now both civil with each other. So a dickhead, probably not much more than I can say for myself. I know you don't go on getdare and say "Well, lets see who I can banned today"... unless you do, and if so, I'm not quite sure what to think of that. lol

Just curious: Do we have moderators covering various timezones? I ask because sometimes there'll be five or six mods on at once, and sometimes there'll be none on for a good couple of hours.

When members are made moderators, they're all required to move to the San Andreas Desert to live in the getDare.com slave house (Star calls it the bee house for some reason) and work; so technically we're all in the same timezone as you can no doubt gather from our listed locations, but we work in shifts to maintain peace and order on the website.
