I've been drunk before. I just don't really see the point. I'd rather be sober; I can help everyone else, I can drive people around (I don't mind being the taxi xD), and I just don't fancy it. If I drink, which is really rare, I do it purely because I like the taste. I never start drinking with the intention to get drunk.

Ah- you've never been to university I gather...

Personally, I can't stand being around drunk people when sober- so if having to be around drunk people- I much prefer to get drunk

As a side- 18th birthdays are the traditional date for getting appaulingly drunk (except in essex, where I believe 14th is more traditional) What better way to celebrate the transition to adulthood than to act like the vast majority of adults- get rat-assed and make a complete tit of yourself?
