This is to encourage them to own slaves who write reports. You can borrow up to $30 gold from the bank, but there'll be interest charged on that. Rationale behind that was that money doesn't come for free :-)

If you think this should be changed I'm open to suggestions, however I think the bank loan solves the problem quite well.

Maybe it should show "available balance" somewhere too... I'll think about adding it.

Personally i think we should start with $30 then if we go over we have to borrow because its not right to borrow from the bank to buy tyour first slave and if you like them have to sell them just to make back the money borrowed

To enter as a slave you must make a post with a title "cmd slave" (no quotes!). This will put you up for an auction.

No need to download anything, the browser extension is optional (and allows you to view the game state instantly after people post).

Kik can be negotiated between individuals if needed. I don't use it.

I think there will be a problem that you will need more than one slave to earn money and maybe you will loose money if you borrow to buy a slave and don't earn report everyday? A Master/Mistress can get stuck at -30 with one slave unless it can be sold to a good price. And more stuck if the slave use the safeword. But it is not my problem... :-)

You don't have to sell them. Each report the slave submits to this thread (with "cmd report" without quotes) will earn you $1.

The loan is to encourage those reports. If you started with $30, people would buy slaves and then go silent. This forces them to be active.
