STRIP POKER WITH A TWIST THE AFTERMATH

A few poor jokes, just to wish you a happy Christmas.

After doing her morning ritual and walking out the house Lucy was shocked when she received a mobile message, this is what is said.

Reading the message Lucy's blood ran cold, all the evenings events must not have been a dream like Lucy was kind of hoping.

Trying to wrap her brain and think about all that had happened Lucy couldn't imagine what Sarah would have planned. Perhaps she would be able to remember at school / college, hurrying to the bus she could do nothing but think. Why wasn't her brain working this morning, perhaps it had something to do with it being a Friday.

With her mind else where Lucy dawdled towards the bus stop not realising the time. As she eventually arrived she realised she was to late and the bus had disappeared without her. "Bother" she called, realising that she would have to walk.

With the long walk Lucy had plenty of time to think. Would Sarah have been cruel and set a dare for her using either of the 2 limits that Lucy had been forced to waver. What were they again, Lucy tried to recall before realising to her horror they were Extreme Pain and piercing. Not wanting to think about them Lucy tried to take her mind off it and focus on the other activities that lied ahead.

If the previous evenings Poker game had actually taken place the way Lucy believed she realised the week was going to be awesome, except for the minor detail of the mysterious dare. What was she looking forward to most? She literally couldn't decide. There were still so many mysteries to solve.

Lucy finally made it to school a full hour late. She had only missed French, nothing important she thought, deciding to wait on the park outside the school grounds for another 30 minutes before her second lesson would begin, Lucy's mind was still wandering when her phone went off again. Who could it be this time, Lucy asked herself?

The message was from John and was asking for a meet up later that evening.

What could John want the group to meet up for all of a sudden?

So many questions and yet so little answers, Lucy returned a text asking for time and venue and strolled into school ready for her second lesson.

She had always hated science especially those experiments involving creepy insects. Today lesson however was going to be something different Seeing several of her poker friends huddled onto the far bench Lucy rushed to meet them.

All the poker players were present except for Laura and Brian. Lucy whispered to John "What's happening later"

"Shhh, you will find out later" John replied, hoping the others wouldn't hear him.

Lucy was now even more surprised and started to feel worried hoping nothing bad was going to happen. Why did she always worry like this? Surely it couldn't be any worse than the other stuff she had been made to do

Several Christmas jokes were told including,

Q1) Why is a Christmas Tree better than a man? (Answer in spoiler at end)

Q2) What goes "oh, oh, oh??

Q3) Why is Santa claws unemployed?

Q4) What never eats at Christmas time?

The room went silent as the teacher entered. "Today class we are going to be looking at different insects and beetles" Lucy's heart sank, yuck, she silently thought.

There will be 2 groups, one group will go onto the football field and the other in the local wood. After 30 minutes you will both swap for a further 1/2 hour. Report back here with all the bugs you have managed to find. There will be a special reward for the people who have the most and for those who have tried the hardest.

"Do we have to pick then up, sir" asked one of the timid girls near the front of class.

"Of course" the teacher chuckled looking at the look on some of the females faces.

"Who are we going to get them back here" the girl asked hoping for an easy solution

Before the teacher had time to reply a tall black haired boy suggested "In your underwear of course." this was followed by a roar of laughter.

"Shhh" shouted the teacher before banging a wooden hammer on the table and calling the students to order. Handing around large tubs he asked if anyone had any questions. Nobody had and with the room divided in half everyone made their way to their chosen location.

All of the poker players were in the same group and had the job of finding bugs and other creepy crawlies on the football pitch first.

"What a stupid lesson" said Amber before she heard a chuckle from
