Yes, swimming in all kinds of places can be exciting. Other outdoor activity too... #563 #572

When we get under 30 tasks I can add some, maybe, but I am looking to get back to 20-25 for a good list and active tasks.

20 hours might be good for #564 and #565 (I mention this because I originally suggested those ones, I originally went for a high number of hours because if it was me I would just do like 5 hours in one go and quickly get through them but apparently other people have a life lol).

I have some thoughts about why #527/#530/#531 might not be getting that much attention, that I also want to mention because it is something that I sometimes think about in general with this thread. I could've easily finished #531 in a few weeks because it is something that I do semi-regularly. Today I will be going to the beach so I could add to #527. But I always think it is better to leave the tasks for people who don't normally already do the thing, or who aren't already going to do it of their own accord or for another reason. So I avoid contributing to tasks like those ones. I don't contribute to tasks like #567 or #585 either, because those are things that I normally do, and they aren't really kink/daring things for me either, they're just normal, so it seems unfair to count those tasks by essentially doing nothing rather than leaving them for someone who will be challenged/motivated/encouraged etc. by them. But where to draw the line on this? If I'm at the beach next week and it's quiet and I feel tempted to swim naked because it's fun and then maybe I remember this thread and that's the little push over the edge, should I count it?

Yeah I basically agree. I tend to let those go a bit in case others are interested (but only because I set them - otherwise I would probably do them). Naked swimming can be hard to do, and I expected those to be the last to go of the original set of swimming tasks. If there is lots of interest, then they can be added again with higher numbers, if I remember.

We always have a few less kinky or non-kinky (flossing, favours) tasks in the list.

Tasks are there to be done....
And if they are regular things for you then you can decide when to count them or not. I do that a bit.

I am planning to add swim tasks, with summer coming on in the northern hemisphere. I am not yet sure what they might be, but try to add variety.

Remember this thread is about having a bit of fun with stuff - and it is VERY inclusive. For example you can count things twice if they meet two tasks (559 for 29 minutes is ALSO 581 for example) and if you do them for another dare or for a top elsewhere, they still count here also.

I have a couple of suggestions.

One would be to piss while swimming (also something that I do regularly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). This is quite easy and discrete to do but can also feel a bit "naughty" or "fun". (Please be considerate - rivers/lakes/sea only, don't piss in public pools or close to other people who don't want to be pissed near.)

Another is to swim clothed (wearing shirt/pants/etc.). Although uncommon, this is something that you can do in public perhaps more easily than swimming naked and it does tie into a range of fetishes. And I would quite possibly contribute a few to that task if it was added because I definitely need more encouragement to do this!

I always really like having some non-kinky tasks in the list! they play to the side of me that is more straight-up subby and gets satisfaction from just doing a thing because told to. it's not that I wasn't a flosser when it wasn't on the task list, but flossing my teeth because I know if I skip it but do other tasks, I'll have to tell on myself that I didn't floss today? that's a very different feeling! (and even more so a different feeling to floss and then immediately bend over the sink to work on #584 with a wooden bathbrush....)

also, "do favors" and similar ones we've had before (I think there've been "give compliments" and "say thank you") I particularly appreciate - not because I don't do them regularly anyway, but because 1) it's an incentive to do extra of things I am already trying to do for non-kinky reasons and 2) the tracking of it via this task list is very kinky for me. one of the favors I counted was doing my roommate's dishes, and I probably would've done that regardless, because I like her and want her to have a less stressful day. but the list motivates me to be on the lookout for favors I can do and to prioritize others' desires and comfort, and that's a satisfying little bit of subby headspace I can carry around.

in case it's useful while you're adjusting the list, here's my feelings/vague plans about the current tasks.

Indeed, reducing time per item would help for #520 (and some other)
#563 and #572 are both exciting!! Believe I'm one of the few people who contributed to those. (Edging while driving is exciting, just like driving naked, at least beneath waist)

Agree that people might not contribute to a task if it is a regular thing to do. Believe if it is a regular thing to do for you, you still can contribute, but shouldn't finish the task all by yourself.
In my case both #530 and #531 would be kinky, but would really want to try. However, therefore it will take more time to find the right moment and place

Interesting discussion. Thank you for joining in.

My thoughts on the normal daily activities are similar. Tasks listed here are reminders, and by causing us to count they remind us that we do these things. It is good to remember that we do things for friends and neighbours (and they for us) and so on. They also remind us there is a plain daily world.

And on tasks for things we do every day - agreed it sometimes does not feel right to count all I do. For example when we had a bicycling task for many many kilometers I didn't always record my daily riding - 150+ km per week - because it seemed like I was hogging it.

Now we just have to get some tasks done....
