Not wearing socks in the winter?

Okay this is something that came to mind recently, do you ever go out in winter without wearing socks/tights etc on?

I mean fair enough if you live somewhere that is hot in winter and you don't need them on but when it's cold out, I just don't understand but that might just be me.

Although when the ladies do it, I won't complain

So do you wear them or not during winter?

It depends on what shoes I'm wearing. Some shoes are just uncomfortable/not meant to be worn with socks so I don't wear socks with those. But more than likely, I'm wearing my socks.

Well I mean on day to day basic, obviously you can't wear them with heels for example

I wear them depending on what shoes I am wearing, which is basically all of my winter shoes. My toes would freeze otherwise. Mostly wear wool socks or multiple socks too.

Would there be any "winter" shoes you wouldn't wear socks with?

Sneakers? I don't really know. Even when my shoes get wet from snow, the wool socks still keep my feet dry so I usually don't go without them or other socks.

Oh no I thought you meant you had other shoes that you wear in winter that don't work with socks

I mean I have flats I wear when I am being stupid or sometimes I wear heels if I am going to a show, party or something.

Sometimes when I go out in winter and i still want to wear heels I'll not wear socks or anything but when I'm just in casual I do wear socks. So it really depends on how I'm feeling/ what I'm doing

Okay, well here's how it is...since coming out publicly as transgender I'm not wearing male clothes, and I haven't been able to afford socks, so I haven't bought any yet and I don't even have any with me right now. But when I need to wear closed shoes because it's too cold out, I just don't wear socks. in January I will buy some.
