What do you think of him? Is a great? Is he a revolution? Do you believe in the "Yes We can!"?
I'm interested to hear what you think of him. Seems to be a lot of debate around Obama.

He is no different from any of our other leaders. Nothing has changed. Big business still controls Washington, our economy is still struggling, and we still have not brought our troops home from overseas. Our problems started long before he took office and will continue long after he is gone. It's just politics as usual and he's the latest face of our government, nothing more nothing less.

I have to agree somewhat with Id.

Big business is the controller of not just Washington but the world in general.
America has got a phenomenal trade deficit and the UK is not too far behind. The economic foundation of our world is very fragile at the present moment. Whatever the politics, ideas or vision is, there is only so much any of these men can deliver in reality.

Its the same old same old making promises with others money to buy votes for the power. Until we kick all the bumbs out of office and hold elected officals accountable nothing that really matters is going to change. When you really look into it the President doesn't have the power that most people think he does. Look at the House and the Senate.

I don't really think anyone could have walked into office making it better. He pretty much shot himself in the foot by getting elected, since the circumstances were horrid and there's pretty much no chance of getting relected. The President really can't do much for the economy anyway. Either way, it's just 2 parties butting heads together, wanting to make everyone look bad while the morons of society actually believe just half the stuff the extremists on both sides say.

meh, I give up on the U.S. democracy. It’s more of a Plutocracy than anything else. Obama pretty much proved it. It does not matter rather it be a Democrat or Republican in office, when it comes down to the niddy griddy someone is going to bitch (excuse my language) one way or another.

As for our votes, go to youtube.com and type in "hacking democracy" and watch the video and tell me what you think.

And that's pretty much the entire reason he's in. Had no particularly fresh ideas during the election,and those he did have he can't bring into place anyway, and pretty much scraped through on his skin colour and charisma. i like the ideas he is trying to put into play, but as it has been said before, too much is run by large companies that it will never happen
i am in full support of becoming more (braced to get shot) socialist. look at all the other countries with these systems, they are much better off than what we could ever hope to be with our current mindsets

I didn't have much hope for Obama in the first place. America is run by the rich man and our government is to corrupt. What we need in this country is a good mix of capitalism and socialism, Just enough to keep the business owners from getting to greedy.

I like obama I think that at first he wasn't ready to be president. Now that he is half way in his term he knows better what to do. I think his plans to repair the economy are good. And in addition since they will have a positive effect on the economy he may get relected.
