Do you have lube? Get lube if you don't have lube. I think, though I am not very certain of this, that you want silicone-based lube. Then start with one finger, slowly.

I'll work on getting lube, but I have no money yet. As of now, Saliva is my choice of lube.

Saliva simply won't do. Oil can work. Start small. Hmmm... I know... Silverware drawer. You could smuggle one out. Knife's handle with some oil on it.

NOTE: YOU ARE ONLY PUTTING THE TIP OF THE HANDLE IN. Be careful not to stick too much in. Put oil on the tip of the handle with one hand. With the hand WITHOUT OIL ON IT, hold the other end of the handle firmly (the end with the dull blade) so that you have absolutely ZERO chance of inserting the blade (yes, it is dull, but most dining room knives still have a serrated edge) into you. Then, only insert about an inch of that handle in.

Do not do this in a position that puts you at risk of falling over and accidentally pushing the whole thing in. BE VERY CAREFUL.

Caution. Careful. I cannot stress those enough.

And oil for lube since you have no real lube right now.
