Gloryhole safety?

I haven't decided when (or even fully if) I wanted to try one but I'm curious what kind of safety can be done for a gloryhole for someone receiving, the concept sounds fun but I don't want to run the risk of catching anything from unprotected, what kind of etiquette is there for condom use? Any other dangers to worry about? Also what's the lube situation normally? Who is expected to provide.

I have not done anything with GH's

I would assume bring your own rubbers and lube and if they don't want to wear it piss on them.
