Don't just ask your guests to take their shoes off

So the next time you have some guests to your house. Don't just ask them to remove their shoes, but you must also ask them to remove their socks too. Simple and straight forward

I had a character in an MMO who did this! Didn't matter who they were, how important or lowly. Anyone who visited his home had to remove any and all footwear in the foyer, or they couldn't come any further.

It was really interesting seeing the reactions!

It was a Star Wars MMO, and he was a Sith Lord, so seeing the reactions of other Sith, even Darths, was fascinating. Some would get very annoyed. Others would relax quite a bit from their normally stiff and stuffy attitudes.

RP server, obviously.

In real life, I've never quite had the balls... but I totally should. Socks are disgusting! Shoes are bad enough, feet marinating in a slurry of sweat, bacteria, and fungi all day long. With socks, it takes much longer to dry, and there's a lot more microbial life to smear all over the floor... eugh!
