Such an interesting question. I think it really can vary from moment to moment and person to person. I have to be in the right frame of mind first, and then the situation or Dominant really taking control of me - getting my mind into a floaty subby place might come from lots of edging or a stern command. There are a lot of different things that make me feel submissive; anything from denial, bondage, and spanking all the way to a dom's tone of voice.

Personally, I would say being completely naked without access or with limited access to my clothes. Examples:
