You can't beat the seaside with a little kid, they love it everytime, and as you say, relatively cheap too!

Off on holiday tonight, so won't be around to read/comment on any story updates for a week or so.

Whereever you take him I'm sure he'll have a great time with you! Do they still have the cable cars at Heights of Abraham? I spent years as a kid seeing them from Matlock bath and wanting to go on them!

Oh, decisions decisions! I'm sure where ever you end up going you'll have a great time! It's years since I went to the Heights of Abraham, easily 5years ago if not more! Last time I went to York railway museum my dad dropped his lens cap down under one of the trains and had to get an assistant along to go and get it back for him!

Yes, I'm off up to Scotland on Friday night (16hr train/coach journey) to join my friends for a holiday on the most western point of the UK mainland!
