Serving Detention Unfairly?

Howe many of you had to serve detention in school because of other people when you were totally innocent?
I think I did. I was not brave enough to skip it. Even I did skip it, my dad would have been totally on my side because I was not part of the problem.
Now since I am in college, if an unfair thing a professor wants to do, I think I am brave enough to defend myself and not do the unfair thing. And argue with him/her later or during class.

We dont get detentions here. We either get scolded off, or caned, if the offence is serious. But watching american movies, detention sounds like... well, alone time O-o Free quiet time given to focus on homework or studies or reading... doesn't sound like a punishment at all O-o I mean, I would so get myself into detention everyday just so I can finish my homework in school and then be able to run home and do whatever else I wanted O-o

Ron Burgundy: [Ron's dog barks at him] You know I don't speak Spanish.
Bartender: You know, times are changing. Ladies can do stuff now and you're going to learn how to deal with it.
Ron Burgundy: What? Were you saying something? Look, I don't speak Spanish.Posted 08-02-2010 at 03:01 PM by Manbearpig
