Former "friends"
Well it is more I got bust in general, but when I have tried to talk to these people, many don't have time for me, or are caring about something else. Yay Woof wants to be my friend.Posted 06-06-2011 at 09:13 AM by lilysmaster -

getDare Radio
I'm with fuffin on that. I also thought something like a guestbook would be fun. Chats tend to get spam and hate comments, so a moderated guestbook with threads/a mini-forum could work. More interaction with live DJs, and suggestion threads etc?Posted 04-09-2011 at 04:09 PM by Slenderman - Doctor -
getDare Radio
I have a vague suggestion for the site, which would be a bonus rather than something -needed-. I can throw it onto the radio thread if it'll be more useful there...
As a lot of the DJs are doing themed/titled 'shows' is it easy to add a 'shout out/heading' box on the site (that is easily edited by DJs only)? That way DJers wouldn't have to constantly say what they're likely to play or if it's a talk show, etc and listeners can check the site go "omfgosh, -Rebecca Friday-?! I'm outta here" or stay if it's something they'll like.
It can just be in a shout box on the getDare Radio page saying something like: "Welcome to Feet-hate Friday Talkshow" or "A Selection of Tracks by DJ StellarRadio" if it's less themed.Posted 04-09-2011 at 04:00 PM by muffinfairy -

Audio blog 1
Personally I'll do the occasional song lyrics blog when I find something that says how I'm feeling better than I could ever write it.Posted 01-22-2011 at 03:44 PM by Stellz -

Indeed it is impossible to understand anything Leo does. Thank you, I personally do not like my voice.Posted 01-22-2011 at 03:03 PM by lilysmaster -

Day 1 of my random babble!
Thank you for the advice Loman, I and not going to post just to bump myself up and get noticed but, more of a this is what I am thinking hopefully sparking at least a little conversation.Posted 01-05-2011 at 02:04 PM by lilysmaster -
Day 1 of my random babble!
Personally I get a little irritated at people who blog excessively, it pushes other blogs off the frontpage and its usually done for the sake of being able to rather than the person having something interesting to say.
I know you want to become known on here but I dont think trying to bump your forum post/blog post count is the way to do it.
Apologies if I read into that wrong.
I don't go in chat these days, but whenever I do log into gD I notice that you are usually in the chat listing. Keep doing that and people will recognise you.
Trust me when I say you don't want to become known as the person who is trying too hard to get attention.
Regards,
Loman.Posted 01-05-2011 at 01:30 AM by Loman -
Day 1 of my random babble!
I understand the intentions but in most things that need attention, something needs moving or deleting and that requires a mod anyway.Posted 01-05-2011 at 12:40 AM by Leopard -
Day 1 of my random babble!
I do it as a friendly reminder not as a I am better than you, you have to listen to me. I have been trying to tone it down though v.v I hate reporting and making mods work... Some people report senseless things and I don't want to be seen as on of those people.Posted 01-04-2011 at 11:25 PM by lilysmaster -
Day 1 of my random babble!
Oh, backseat modding. Yeah, you are encouraged to report such issues rather than attempt to deal with them yourself.Posted 01-04-2011 at 11:13 PM by Leopard -
Day 1 of my random babble!
I didn't think I could ask for one, more of a random thought.
By micromanaging I mean like posting in threads pointing out where people have broken rules, or in chat for example much earlier someone requested pornographic pictures and I informed them that requesting those sort of pictures is against the gD rules.Posted 01-04-2011 at 11:10 PM by lilysmaster -
Day 1 of my random babble!
What do you mean by micromanaging on here?
You can't ask for a username change at this time, I'm afraid.Posted 01-04-2011 at 10:25 PM by Leopard -

*glares at color*
I will love you much more, if you pick a different color
Otherwise, don't worry so much about fitting in, the more you stress about it and talk about it the more you stick out like a sore thumb. Just be friendly and you'll find your group.Posted 01-04-2011 at 05:06 PM by nellybell -
Being noticed!
I was expecting one, maybe two comments. Thanks for the comments and tips.
I really never know what to type, well talk about in blogs, but I can try.
I try to be active in chat and post valuable posts, although I do reply to a lot of the "survey" threads but they are not "bad" posts in my eyes so it looks like I am heading in the right direction.Posted 01-04-2011 at 12:44 PM by lilysmaster -
Being noticed!
=O I know you LM! (:
Follow the advice of the others, talk in chat. Also, most of the regulars also write blogs. It seems to be my number one way of keeping up with the "non-fakers". So blog writing is probably a good idea. (:Posted 01-04-2011 at 07:53 AM by sweetsong -
