If i understand you correctly you're saying that you're running a Linux setup??11?
You could attempt to run standard msn through wine, which should be available through any of your software repositories or from here http://www.winehq.org/site/download
Packages many major distros, and think there's source so you can compile yourself.
Alternately use one of the alternatives found in the thread you yourself created.
Pidgen is good, if a tad ugly. Kopete is another good linux one http://kopete.kde.org/ (designed for kde, so think you probably need qt installed)
Alternantly there's amsn which is cross platfrom.
Oh and just read a bit more of what you were saying, i think you mean the netpassport as it used to be known.
As newslave says above you can start a hotmail account. But i think yahoo accounts work as msn ones, and i know you can set up any email to be one, let me see if i can find a link. Think this should have the info you want https://accountservices.passport.net...vv=550&lc=2057
I know it's doable as i have a gmail account as a msn thing.
Or as newslave doesn't say as he's edited his post lolPosted 01-26-2008 at 02:09 PM by Sum

I second running Pidgin!
http://www.pidgin.im/
Wine application support is really hit or miss. I would only go down that road after trying Pidgin out.Posted 01-28-2008 at 02:03 AM by depp
