getDare Truth or Dare - Dare Wars! - Trading Card collection and battle game!

Greetings all!

Welcome to DARE WARS!

My latest addition to the site...and just a bit modelled on Pokemon...shush (don't tell Nintendo!)

What is this about?

This is a trading card collection thread, there are 60 Common and Uncommon Cards to collect and fill your album!
But wait...there's more! These cards aren't only for collection, but can be used to compete with your fellow GetDarers in battle, winner getting to issue a loser a dare based on the cards played (turn to the battle thread for more details).
This plays like rock paper scissors and is easy to pick up

Each card has a number of elements:

Name - my whimsical name for the card
Strength - Battle Strength of the card
Category - The category of dare this belongs to
Description - My own musings on the subject

The cards are broken up into category sets, each category has it's strengths and weaknesses in battle (turn to the battle thread for more details Battle Thread
).

Collecting

So what is a card game where you don't collect the cards for fun? You have 60 Common/Uncommon cards to collect!

Card Packs

I will issue cards in the form of card packs for players, each pack will contain 5 cards, 3 common cards and 2 uncommon cards

How to obtain Card Packs

So this thread is all about positivity and rewarding people who contribute to the site, so you can obtain cards in the following ways:

1. Become a referee (referee's will earn one pack for each battle report submitted, turn to the battle thread for more details Battle Thread
)

2. Asking at least 5 questions on someone's AMA (please post in this thread when you have done this with a link to the page)...(max 2 cards packs a day from this!)

3. Answering a Truth thread that has at least 10 questions (please post in this thread when you have done this with a link to the page)...(max 2 cards packs a day from this!)

4. Creating an imaginative dare, I will judge whether your dare warrants a reward (please post in this thread when you have done this with a link to the page)...(max 2 cards packs a day from this!)...for this it can be on a persons TorD thread for 1 pack, or creating a whole dice dare for 2 packs

5. Posting a good blog entry, this better be an interesting or insightful read! (please post in this thread when you have done this with a link to the page)...(max 2 cards packs a day from this!)

6. Hosting a game/event/Roleplay on the forum (please post in this thread when you have done this with a link to the page, you can earn 1 pack for each week you host an event, just remember to post here when the week rolls over!)

7. Add something of good quality to the Kink Educational section (please post in this thread when you have done this with a link to the page)

8. Create a New Truth thread with at least 10 questions (please post in this thread when you have done this with a link to the page)...(max 2 cards packs a day from this!)

9. Create a new story thread (Reward will be given every 2 chapters)

10. Start a Request TorD thread, once you have given at least 2 reports for dares done you may post here with a link to receive your card!

11. Posting a good reply on a roleplay thread (must at least be a paragraph)

12. Girls can earn a card pack by sending me a PM dare (one a day)

13. Winning a game such as Boys Vs Girls, or AVM.

14. Getting another player to join this thread (recommend a friend bonus, both you and your friend get a card pack)

15. Posting a good report to a dare you have done in any dice dare/dare thread

Please note

Historical threads don't count for the above, this is only valid from the beginning of this post (sorry)

Rare/Ultra Rare Cards

These cards will be based on active GetDare users.

Do you think you deserve a card of your own?

You must have obtained at least 2 card packs before you can request this special honour :)
You must have at least 100 posts to your name.

Or

Collecting all cards! (Please PM when done with a link to your album so I can verify)

Once you have met the above conditions you can have your very own card!

Cards will be created with the following Rarities and Strengths:

Rare Cards:

100 - 500 Posts - Strength 7
501 - 1000 Posts - Strength 8
1001 - 2000 Posts - Strength 9

Ultra Rare Cards:

2001+ Posts - Strength 10

You can request a card via PM to me, please include the following information:

1. A link to an image for the card (I'd rather have good resolution, so please don't say to copy from your avatar, please remember GD rules on pictures...no explicit nudity!)
2. Custom name for the card (username will be used if not provided)
3. Which Categories should this card fall into? (Rare can have 2, Ultra Rare can have 3)
4. What is the text for your card? (please be sensible on word count!)
5. What colour scheme should your card have?
6. Any other special requests for the design?
7. Any special rules you want to request for your card?

Rare card holders can may issue challenges for players to earn their cards.

Ultra rare cards will be prizes for events on the forum! Though if holders want to issue challenges they may!

Trading:

What's any good game without Trading?
Sure, feel free to trade cards with other players...but maybe before just giving your hard earned cards away, maybe you want to set challenges before trading/earning cards from you?

The Future

If this takes off I may add expansion packs to the game, expand the card list or create special events based around it, I will announce all in this thread.
