Well, you can bury the living, but that would be murder, right? The coins riddle is also good because pushes you in to thinking about details instead of getting the discrepancy hiding in plain sight.
Adding a local component makes it much tougher, of course. For example:
A farmer in Georgia with a cabbage, a goat and a wolf needs to cross from the north side of the I95 to the south. He can only carry one thing when crossing the road. The goat will try to eat the cabbage, and the wolf will try to eat the goat. In which order should the farmer take the items from the north side of the I95 to the south?
