All verification would do is cause more pressure on women to prove they are female, when some people just don't want to do that.

I agree with Gyev. If you want someone to have to verify they are who they say they are, then do that privately and on your own terms, don't offer that to the masses because all that will happen is more people will feel like they have to do it.
