Question about photo rules
 

I have a question about a thread I started some days ago (http://www.getdare.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=210951)


As I understand the rules, getdare doesn't allow posts with photos, that show nudity. But...

- can I create a photo album on a different site and link it in a post?
- can I give a link to a photo album via PM?
- is there another way to (indirectly) link photos?

The best way to do it, if you want to show them on gD, would be to black out nipples, penises, and/or vagina. You can show the rest, I think! Don't quote me on that.
You can't link to nude materials on here. I'm not sure about in a PM.

I believe you can link them to Kinktalk (The more extreme sister site of this site)

You can send links in PM to willing recipients, just no posting links to such images in public.

Huh. I was just about to ask a simialr question...

So that means I can't create an album on kinktalk and do a link in my signature?

As Red stated and I believe is stated elsewhere too. As long as it doesn't link directly to it, you're okay. So if it say links to all your albums, then I believe it would be okay. As far as Pm's, you are allowed if someone wants it. Other ways would be emailing or messaging on other sites or applications.

Does this apply to avatar images as well, or just pictures? I'd love to have a picture of myself for my avatar, sans private parts.

I know that, but my question was if you could block out nudity in an avatars the same way you can for pictures. I've seen avatars shirtless (men), and blacked out genitals in pictures. Can you do the same for avatars?

The official rules are that your avatar should be suitable for PG13. If it is offensive it may get removed. Definitely don't show anyone your private parts, that will definitely get removed. Just try to be respectful? :D
