A brief Intro to the thread

Some of you may have seen my previous thread about this but as we are about to update to 1.19 I thought it's time to post a new thread. Me and Puppy host a Minecraft server for GD members to game and maybe play together :P And we are looking for more members

So what does GetDare have to do with Minecraft?

I always enjoy random conversation when gaming, and I am most comfortable chatting to fellow kinky people. By virtue of it being an adult server we avoid having trolls or kids on the server, it should be a relaxing place to make awesome builds and hang out and socialise with fellow kinky gamers. Whether you want to give yourself challenges and tasks/potentially play with others or just want to relax you are very welcome

If you want to get kinkier however….

We can post tasks/challenges for people, minigames with rewards/forfeits in game or kink. You can set yourselves goals/challenges to do, from punishments per death or denial until i manage to get X (For some examples this is a list of minecraft dares i proposed earlier this year for inspiration. I will be making very challenging dungeons in future for people to test themselves in, with some kinky elements available for those who are interested. Basically it will be a place for us to play with one another, in a game which we share. Tasks and dares posted in game - and can be crossposted on the forums. But mainly it will be about building and having fun together on a kink friendly server. It will have rules, but they will boil down to don’t troll and respect those around you.

Server Information/plans

We are running on 1.19.2 Java after the update on a mostly vanilla server with just a few quality of life updates. As a reminder if you own Bedrock you will also now own Java. (I am not going to go into the full list of mods here but we are running it on fabric.)

You do not need to own anything beyond Minecraft, me and my puppy are hosting the server on our resources, so there will never be any costs for our members. There are no requirements to joining, you can be a first time player or a veteran from the alpha. All we ask is you follow our rules which boil down to respect each other.

Part of the reason we took so long to update to 1.19 is that we wanted to avoid the chat changes which were implemented and Puppy spent a fair few months trying to get answers from support on some technical elements (to very little success) As a result of not getting anything useful back my puppy has been tweaking things to ensure that no messages can be sent from here to mojang/microsoft

We are starting fresh over on 1.19, and the plan is to update this server for 1.20, so most likely we will not do another reset until 1.21+ (When there are next significant biome changes). When we do a reset we will provide our players a world download.

What you can expect from our server

I hope that we gather a small community of people who are interested in gaming together, whether old or new. On the previous server we have had some fun kinky interactions in game and in voice inspired by what we were getting up to, forfeits for certain things, me extracting suffering for trades etc You don’t have to want to interact and be kinky with others but you have the freedom to do so.

We use a discord server in order to communicate easier with those on our server. Once you are on there and i have your minecraft names i will whitelist you and give you the server information

I hope to see some of you soon over in our weird new world. We will always be accepting new members on the server because gaming and kinky interactions are much more fun with more people around

Hey there! I just stumbled upon this post about the GD Minecraft Server, and I have to say, it sounds like such a cool idea. I love the idea of gaming and interacting with fellow kinky people in a safe and respectful environment.
I'm new to this forum, but I wanted to share that I recently discovered a website, https://minecraft.menu, with a list of the best Minecraft servers. It might be worth checking out if you're interested in exploring other servers.
Anyway, I think it's great that you're building a community of like-minded individuals who can come together and have fun in a kink-friendly environment. It's awesome that you and Puppy are hosting the server on your own resources and not charging any costs for members.

It is honestly quite impressive what people are building on there.

We just upgraded to 1.19.4 - so the latest update, and I implemented a better upgrade strategy for future upgrades.

No chat reporting, no telemetry, discord integration - so you can stay in contact with people in game while you're not on, a death counter for linking dares and forfeits with, a chest will be generated where you die - you just need a recovery compass to find it (or use a client side mod that tells you the coordinates).

No creeper holes or enderman stealing blocks. No firetick.

Overall it is all very vanilla though.

I'm working on bringing nicknames back. This way you can make yourself be known by the same name you want to be referred to.

We still have got space, and quite a few players logging in a few times a week.

There's a mini game area already starting, too. So many things, and so fun to just look around and see how people express themselves. Mistress probably could add a few more things that I am not aware of. (I just run the server, in the end it's hers )
