i am confused as to how EIEIOUOU has a score of 1.

- if E exists in the codeword, then it should have a score of at least 2 (2 if E exists at neither index 1 + 3, 3 if E exists at one of the indexes, and 4 if it exists at both)
- if E doesn't exist in the codeword, then it should have a score of 0.

Repeat this for I/O/U, and it seems like a guess of that nature should never be able to have a score of 1.

From the guess ZYGHRSTE scoring 0 we know E is not there in the code
From the guess SHVURBDY scoring 0 we know U is not there in the code
From the guess EIEIOUOU scoring 1 we know since E and U not there either I or O has scored the 1
From the guess AAAAEIOU scoring 2, I feel atleast 1 point is for either the I or O (as explained above) and the remaining point (if any) could be for an A

The only way to get a score of 1 is if you have a letter included exactly once in your guess in the wrong spot. That's impossible to do if the guess is comprised of four pairs of two identical letters.

I get your query, Just to explain the rules better, for example, if I occurs once in the 5th spot in the original code but in the guess somebody has guessed I I I I I I I I then Riskyflame will show the score as 2 for the one I in the fifth spot, others 7 I's will score zero.. another example, if I occured at the 3rd and the 5th spot in the actual code and someone guessed _ _ I _ _ _ I I , then this guess would score 3 as one I in correct position and another in wrong and the third I will not add to the score at all assuming the dashes are with letters that do not exist in the code
