What does it mean to be a senior member? Is it just how long you have been on the site or is it how old you are or how many posts you made? Or am i completely off on all of these guesses?

It's how many posts you have made.

to stop pointless replies like,
'cool' or 'thanks' its a way of ensuring most posts are of a good quality.

The "Thanks" button is only below the thread post. And I believe it's 100 posts to become a Senior Member. But the titles aren't that important, don't spam to get one.
