For myself I have to pick Apollo, the god of music and poetry. Music is my life and after what I first thought to be impossible to pass, my GCSE for music, I actually thanked Apollo because I had a stong feeling that it went great, and I got a B.

Personally I would say I do choose to beleive in Apollo as my god, as lame as some people may see it

I've always been a big fan of Hades though - he gets a bad rep, just for being the god of the underworld. He's only doing his job. And, he only has one wife (Persephone) and he loves her and is pretty faithful to her. Compared to Zeus, he's practically a saint!

Its got to be Dionysus every time, God of wine, madness, celebration and ecstasy. Born to a mortal woman, killed accidentally by his father Zeus and then reborn through him as a god. A permanent outsider as a newcomer, yet closer to humans than many of the gods having spent time walking the world as a human.

As to if i believe, ecstatic madness in celebration is something that i can relate to and that i think is something more than what we experience as individuals, if that counts....
