In specific, makeup is some thing not too easy, where all femeales strive to have natural look and not overdo. Still need to learn and I follow the constant progress of beauty products.
I generaly have more light color in daytime, versus evening/night where can go darker shades and also season depend.

Red crimson or dark red for lipstick, I prefer matte over glossy/watery

Last, i yes paint my nails for myself, and my favorite are french (in white or sometime in red) and red/wine red nail polish, much more darker on toes.
Not big fan of other color, black or light blue and green aside
