I don't know if this question is for me. As much excitement it gives me, the negative emotions are a bit stronger. So I would definitely consider this a punishment

I think the real risk of escalation to actual non consensual exposure isn't financial. Its that somebody would try to use the photos to get you to take more photos (and not in that hot consensual non-consent way), or that they would simply expose you to family and work then go back to 4chan or wherever and laugh about it.

I'm aware of quite a few cases where this has happened (girl takes sext, 4chan-dick somehow finds the facebook account, 4chan-dick sends the photos to friends and family).

I'm probably pretty safe, because my name here, my name on Fetlife, my name at work, and the name on my driving license are all different. Anything I've uploaded I've stripped away EXIF data (if you take a photo with a phone then the GPS coordinates are probably embedded, unless the site you upload to strips them out for you).

The last defense, though would be to simply grit my teeth and continue. I've mitigated, but ultimately accepted the risk.

That's definitely something I've thought about before which is why I do not send pictures to random people who message me on kik. I either upload them on fetlife, Tumblr or temporarily.exposed where I do not mention my name anywhere.. I only send nudes to people I trust, so only to friends and partners. It's hard to trust so I'm always extra cautious! But considering my bad luck..... Who knows.... It's a risk I take.
