When I had 10 ice cubes inserted, I experienced much pain and after a minute I wanted to take them out as quickly as possible. So I'll definitely go for the 24 hours of wearing a mandatory butt plug because holding my bowels for 24 hours (and a few cramps) is less painful. Especially if I empty my bowels beforehand.

Edit: although it depends on the temperature of the ice cubes. The ice cubes I used were between -18°C and -24°C (0°F to -11°F).

I would rather keep the plug for 24 hours. 10 ice cubes might be more than I can handle. I like anal, but dislike feeling cold. Easy choice.
