Issue with Kik and new contacts

I've heard from several users that they seem to not be getting messages from new contacts via Kik. I tried to email Kik and the support email is no longer valid.

Has anyone found a way to fix this on the user end? I did the old IT Dept. fix, logged out and back in. That only seemed to just delete all my existing messages.

Its kind of hard to play with people if you can't Kik them.

It is definitely a problem with Kik. I've made contact with their support team and they have passed it on to the developers.

the past few kik updates have completely broke it for me

lol it crashes everytime i open it

Mine is fixed today, go to kik on the app store and tap update if it doesn't happen automatically
