Both, lots and lots of times. Cleanup isn't a big deal as long as you're careful what you use-- pudding or (fake) coolwhip pies, cake batter dyed with food coloring for gunge, they clean up just fine.

I've done it to myself, absolutely love it. Never had anyone else gunge or pie me, but it's on my bucket list.

I once got the chance to perform a messy skit as a clown, with other clowns. I got pied multiple times and then gunged. It was fun, and I'd do it again in a second, but I'd prefer to do a similar situation crossdressed. I think it'd be funniest if I played it like I was a beautiful girl oblivious to the clowns, and then they totally humiliate me with pies, gunge and buckets of water.

I've been pied and gunged once at college (in the Netherlands, where I studied law) -- on two separate occasions!

So here's the story.

When I turned 19, my roommate pied me right in the face just when I was ready to go out for drinks. We laughed (my face and hair were completely covered in cream) but you have to know: I cared a lot about how I looked back then. I was always making sure my hair was absolutely perfect (using quite a lot of gel, obviously). So, there I was: coming out of the bathroom and completely surprised by the pie. Couldn't say anything for a couple of seconds to be honest. Anyway: I cleaned up perfectly and we went out to celebrate my birthday.

The gunge-story was a completely different situation, since it was for charity. The law student association I was a member of, raised money each year for cancer research. And they did it in the best possible way: dunking some of the association's biggest 'douchebags' (and I have to admit: I was quite a douche back then) in a tank with green, gooey gunge. Fully clothed btw -- I decided to put on some nice pants and a nice shirt, thinking: 'If I go in, I do it with some style'. I remember sitting there waiting for the highest bidder to pull the leverage. Looking into the tank. Shaking my head. Checking the hair. I wasn't too keen on being dunked, to be honest. All I remember is that I 'got in' and felt like a complete idiot -- all wet and green. Quite humiliating but people loved it (and why wouldn't they?).

I also remember well btw how I fell into a pool fully clothed during a party at a friend's house. I was 16 and a little drunk when I tripped and fell in head-first. At first, I didn't even know what happened: the one moment I was being on top of the world (being the douchebag I was), a second later I was completely soaked. I remember saying to a friend that my hair was ruined -- I had long, gelled-up hair back then, like most guys in Holland. Did not like that, of course.

Some people later told me that I fully deserved it all :-) I guess they are right. Karma and all that :-)
