Default What chastity device?

Hi,

I am interested in orgasm control and denial games. So my interest was soon led to chastity devices. If I ever decide to buy one, what would you think would be the best?
  • Are the open ones better, where the cock head is still available for teasing?
  • Or do the closed ones the better job, as they should increase the frustration of no sensation at all?
  • Which of them are able to allow a ruined orgasm, which don't?
  • What about the comfort during long-term wearing?
  • Is peeing without complications possible?
  • Is every device lockable?
  • Plastic or steel?
  • What about the weight, is it important?
  • Which devices can I wear under normal trousers, without to be seen?

Thank you for every answer, as I have no experience at all.

I'll give my opinions on this from what I've experienced talking to people who've owned chastity belts.
  • I think a closed one would be better as having open which is more open could cause pinching around the head which could make it harder for long term wear.
  • It'll be very hard to have an ruined orgasm through chastity and it really depends on which toys you have vs which device you go with.
  • This depends on the belt, some have large holes and some may have no hole at all. Some even come with urethral inserts to aid with peeing (and a bit of teasing).
  • Almost every device is lockable in some capacity. Some use padlocks and some come with built in locks.
  • Plastic is light and from what I've heard more comfortable but steel is more hygienic especially when it comes to peeing and stuff.
  • With a cage you might notice the weight of it, another idea is to get a full belt which kinda eliminates the weight issue but some with their own (mainly size and cost).
  • Most cage designs will cause a bulge meaning that you can't wear them under tight trousers without them being obvious. Some belts are design to stop this but you also have the problem of having the full belt and the cost.

Default My opinions on the subject

Hello!
I'll try to answer as best as I can based on my very limited experience.
  • Are the open ones better, where the cock head is still available for teasing?

Yes, the open ones are better, but not just because of teasing. I find it great that the skin can be touched while erections are impossible. Nevertheless, closed ones are a lot more frustrating because not even you can touch it at all.

  • Or do the closed ones the better job, as they should increase the frustration of no sensation at all?

    See above.
  • Which of them are able to allow a ruined orgasm, which don't?

It's the same. If you get an orgasm it's not going to come from your penis.
  • What about the comfort during long-term wearing?

Open, metal ones are the best for long-term. I had a terrible short term experience with a plastic one. It gets stinky quickly and I had a nasty problem with the "ventilation" holes which cut into my skin.
  • Is peeing without complications possible?

Sure. It all depends on how open is the top and how much the hole aligns with the opening. With the right cage it can be achieved without problems.
  • Is every device lockable?

What do you mean by lockable? I guess yes, but there are different kinds of locks available.
  • Plastic or steel?

Steel. Plastic seems not very hygienic to me, and I've read that it's brittle after a while. Silicone is completely useless.
  • What about the weight, is it important?

Not important per se, but it is an interesting feeling: a heavier cage reminds you all the time that it is there.
  • Which devices can I wear under normal trousers, without to be seen?

Depends mostly on your trousers. I guess with the right trousers any device can be worn

Thanks to both of you, Everill and king1236,

now I get a clearer idea about it. About the technical and hygienic side and the sexual side.

Technically I would prefer a metal device now. The decision about a closed or open cage depends on which form of frustration I would 'like' more, being touched without the ability to have an erection or not being able to feel anything. I think I tend to the open one, I love the teasing.
I never thought about the weight being an extra teasing factor, thank you!

Now, does anyone of you knows a special cage with this specs (metal, open), that you used or heard of being very good? I just don't want to spend a lot of money for nothing.
Any links welcome, although I could not buy it online, I live in a big city with many sex shops.

I've heard that House of Denial has a few good cages which match these specs.
Before buying one I would recommend measuring yourself to make sure the cage isn't too small or big.

I would not buy it online, it should stay my little secret. But I will look on this site and read the comments, thank you.
Yes, measure myself, soft and hard I think, something I never did before, really :-)

Thank you for this hint, DiaperMan!
Never thought about this problem before. If this happens, should I go to a doctor or a blacksmith?

Lol depends. Fortunately mine was made of plastic and i was able to break the loop off of where the lock sits after a mild panic attack.

So yesterday I went t a local sex shop and did it!
I bought a chastity cage, and I was so brave to ask for help :-)
The friendly shop attendant suggested a silicone version for me as a beginner and asked for my size. I hadn't measured it and answered 'average, I think', and I bought it.
Today, when I was alone, I tried to put it on, but it was too cold, my balls were not relaxed enough to fit through the ring. So I took a hot bath and everything went smoothly.
I am surprised, how good it feels, and how tight it fits around the penis, no erection possible.
I am glad that I took the silicone one, it would fit into my trousers without to be seen, because it is flexible.
I will see how it works for me, thank you!
