permanent ignore for chat?

Hey,

Is there any way at all that you could implement an ignore function for the chat which is saved in some way? There are certain people posting pictures of their ass in chat too often for my liking, and it seems unreasonable to wait for them to be struck down by lightning to learn a lesson.

Alternatively I'm just as fine with banning asses from chat, be that in general or just that one person.

sadly,there is no way to permanently ignore someone in chat,you need to do it every time,maybe with the new updates on the server they will add something like that,which will help.

Yes, I know who you mean and it's not something I wish to see when I'm in chat (not that I go on chat much anymore)

Unfortunately he's usually posted it before you've realised he's in chat, so even if you then put him on ignore, it's too late.. Think he does it just for the reaction sometimes.

I wish there was a way to ignore permanently!

*sigh* Is he really back doing that crap, oh joy.
Hopefully the updates give us something like this well needed feature

They can't implement a permanent ignore feature in the current chat of getDare. It's a plugin as is, which can't be tingled with (as far as I know). IF getDare gets updated, it's probable that we'll get a new chat plugin that supports this feature and many other new things.

He's not breaking any of the site rules so he cannot be banned.

There are plenty of other people who have kinks that annoy others (such as baby talk, diapers, and talking in the third person for example) and we don't ban them for that. This is no different. This is an adult site so we should be able to all be adults about it and ignore it and move on.

Also, he gets a kick out of it when people make a big fuss. If you don't react, then he stops.
