I'll pass on the freeloading, I like to earn and work hard enough. I'm at work right now, but maintenance is being done in my area at the moment. How is the next person to post doing? And yes, I do realize this isn't the question thread.

Ehm... In contrast with person above, I don't like to work too hard while still earning enough. Once you've got that going, all is well in life.

I don't work too hard, but I work smart, hard enough to helpful, and earn enough also. I didn't (initially) mean earn like how much I make. I meant earn like to acquire or deserve by one's efforts or actions. Anyway, To each his own. Free will and all that sovereignty.

I get pretty well paid for sitting at meeting tables, making a steeple with my index fingers under my chin, and nodding my head sagely when some dumb MBA opens his/her mouth. It's a pretty good gig, if you can get it.

You do need to master some phrases like, "tell me about your action plan to align this with corporate strategy", or "I fail to see how this addresses the post-covid paradigm shift that we all know is coming." Once you inject one of these gems, you can check getDare on your phone for 15 minutes in peace while the recipient of your pearl of wisdom squirms and stutters out an answer.
