Is GetDare Illegal?

Hello,

I just realized that minors are allowed to access most of the forums on this site, including the Dares section?

Could this not lead to legal problems, as there is a lot of mature content on these forums.

Perhaps there should be an 18+ section for dares of a sexual nature, and another section for dares that aren't of a sexual nature that minors can access?

I have nothing against this site, but I do believe if children are going to be allowed access to this site they should be allowed only on the forums that offer a safe environment, not only because of the legal aspect, but for their own protection!

I would appreciate your opinion on this matter! And I would recommend refraining from posting content of a sexual nature until this is cleared up.

PS - Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I have never seen any threads on this site regarding minors.

No, you have to be 18 to join the site its in the forum rules. Anyone who was under 18 when the rule was made can stay but they will not be able to post in the +18 forums

No this site in not illegal. It falls under the first ammendment. Minor can look at porn online too,but porn itself is no illegal. Its illegal to view it if your underage not that anyone ever really checks. If a minor sees the dare they choose weather todo it or not. If they choose todo it then thats their choice "we" can not be held responsible. Its like if they find drugs on the street and get caught with them,they are responsible for having/doing the drugs. I remember seeing this. Also becuase they are joining the website knowing what goes on and becuase the owners clearly state what goes on, then its all up to the minor
