That is a really difficult question for me to answer as I love watching films and have so many favourite films, that it seems sort of unfair to pick 3 of them. So I decided to choose 5, to have a little more broadness of genres and release time:

"Magnolia" by Paul Thomas Anderson
"Apocalypse Now" by Francis Ford Coppola
"Reservoir Dogs" by Quentin Tarantino
"12 Angry Men" by Sidney Lumet
"Alien" by Ridley Scott

I think this covers my personal movie taste by a lot!

I could create a top 10 out of my favorite movies and I would still bloody struggle... Huuuuuuh...

1.) Forrest Gump. Definitely and without a question. One of my most adored movies and I can't see any movie top in the near of far future. It just resonates with me too well.
2.) The Green Mile. Heartfelt and very appreciated piece of cinema by me.
3.) Peaceful Warrior. Not the best film ever brought to the big screen, but as someone who had to deal with a lot of leg problems and surgery upon them and than recover from, it grew to me more and more.
