The Wrong Way to Reply to Slavery Advertisements

I recently posted an advertisement on this website to essentially give myself as a slave to a potential dominant. I have been very overwhelmed by the amount of applications and messages I have received. With this being said, I thought I would make a little guide highlighting just some of the Red Flags that I have found in potential Masters.

I would hope that this guide is useful to anyone who is seeking an online D/S relationship. I hope that slaves can use this to identify who a good dominant would be and who a bad dominant is. Furthermore, I would love to think and assume that Masters and Mistresses can also use this guide when it comes to them replying to slavery advertisements and hopefully this guide will help us to all find our perfect partner.

With that being said, let us begin in taking a look at the biggest red flags from "Masters" thus far.

RED FLAG: Task Giving

By all means, as a potential dominant it is a great idea to present several examples of tasks that you would be giving your submissive. As a submissive, I enjoy seeing the types of tasks that a Master/Mistress gives as it enables me to get a feel of the type of things that will be expected from me. Examples are a very good thing, however what I received is less so!

The large majority of people who have "applied" to be my Master, have actually given me a task. It usually goes something like this: One poorly structured sentence about their Age and Location, followed by a demand for me to complete a task for them. One thing you have to understand here, is that you are essentially applying to be a Master. Too many dominants seem to think that a slave must do what a dominant identifying person tells them to. I have no issue doing all and every task that my dominant gives me, but you are not my dominant - you are a person on the internet applying to be my dom.

If you went to a job interview to be a Store Manager of a shop, you wouldn't go in to your interview and start telling the staff what to do. You're getting ahead of yourself. Let's talk first. Let's communicate. Let's see if we are compatible: then we can if there is room for us to engage in tasks and a D/S relationship.

RED FLAG: Lack of Information

One thing I always attempt to do in my adverts is to give as much information as possible. The more you know about each other in the communication and getting to know each other stage, the better your relationship can be. The more you know about each other, the more you can thrive. So it is very difficult when getting information out of a dominant is the equivalent of getting blood out of a stone.

You need to be open with me about what you are looking for in a slave. Tell me why you want a slave. What made you respond to my advert specifically? There are almost 30+ adverts posted on Getdare a week, why did mine appeal to you? What are your likes, dislikes and limits? If you are a dominant reading this, I can not put my trust and my submission into someone if I don't know anything about who they are and what they like. For example, Vomit is a huge limit of mine. If I just accept you as my dom with no knowledge, and vomit is your biggest turn on: our relationship is going to be extremely bad.

RED FLAG: Not Reading the Advert

Oh believe me - I know if you did not read the advert. Simply put, if you do not have the time to read the actual advert: then you do not have the time needed to really put the effort and committment in to our relationship. It is so important and crucial that you read the advertisements.

For example, there was an advertisement posted by a young female who identifies as a slave quite recently. As a versatile male, I was interested in this advert. I read through it and we had a lot of the same kinks, we had a lot of the same interests. I enjoyed reading her application, it answered a lot of questions and was well written. I wanted to apply at that stage. The advert then included that she was only looking for women, and therefore - I did not apply. She had a specific type of person she was looking for, and that's absolutely okay!

I chose not to waste the young woman's time, and she therefore didn't waste my time. Reading the adverts in the very first aspect, more over than anything else - is a sign of respect.

Remember the Golden Rule. Even if a Slave is into being degraded by their dominant, if you are applying to be a dom - You do not YET own that person. Treat them as such!

Very well put. You forgot to mention the “I own and I am your only master, blah blah” who then go on to ghost you for a week. Being a very submissive guy that left with “well what do I do now? “ it slowly dawned on me that he alleged Master was in fact “a one cum closet???” I have to say I’d given a good long detailed resume and everything I could to help be assured he was in control only to get ghosted. I’m not so stupid as not to know people think differently before and after orgasm but seriously “a little manners please”

I want to add that the communication is both ways. To me thats a huge red flag. Also be honest from the beginning. Are you looking for online only or for it to merge into long term regular life. Are you just looking for an occasional quick session and done.
Be willing to just chat about life and other interests a little before going straight to play.

Yeah I saw someone addressing a slave as pig while replying to the advert, my first reaction was to find that weird for someone who is still in the application stage, then I thought it was just me being sensitive and the OP probably liked that.

I would say to each their own. However thats usually a sign of at least one of these things; Abusive, underage, inexperienced or just plain dumb.

ALL OF THIS!!!!! Seriously like the amount of people responding to my advert that clearly did not read it was infuriating. If someone isn’t going to take the time to read a simple couple paragraph advert then I have no interest talking to them period.

We can also say that we could have a "The Wrong way to post a Slavery Advertisement" topic (there's one already most likely). I've seen barely two lines ads here getting more replies than very well written and detailed ads just because op is female and young etc. I am not saying you should write a poem (like i do xD) or tell everything about you (i do put too many informations usually) but i do think in the end that a decently written ad stands out more and gives a better impression

On the note of replies what i find worth mentioning as at least weird is when i see people "demanding" replies and adding their contact info. Dude you're the one replying to the ad shouldn't you be the one contacting the op? Like if op didn't put contact infos it is clear they are expecting to receive replies in private messages no? Or even if op added contact infos you should be the one contacting not the other way around. Do they think it's a way to look more dominant? And i'll also add that being rude/harsh isn't very dominant. "I texted you reply to me slut". I am not saying you must be like "hey honey i texted you please reply to me if you don't mind" but it takes nothing to be decent

Yes! You have basically summed up most of my experiences from Doms who reply to me or seek me out. I've learned that just jumping in with little information ends in disappointment almost every time for both parties. I don't understand why "Doms" who do this expect a different outcome. Lucky to have found 2-3 solid Doms that can use me when I am available. I just wish more were patient and willing to communicate.
