I played on the "a bit harder" level; seems that means that the computer sinks your destroyer on its first turn. That feels a bit unfair as that is usually the hardest ship to find - one random ship might be better balanced.

Yes, that is the behavior of one level. Unfortunately it should have been the "much harder" round that knocks out your destroyer automatically (which is what made it "much harder", it's the same AI as "a little bit harder" but since it knocks out your destroyer, it's a lot tougher to win). The standard and little bit harder modes should just use strategy rules.

Looks like when I added intermediate, the behavior flag pointed to the wrong difficulty setting. Bugs, sigh.

This has been fixed. Now the modes should behave as expected.

I finally created a game as well.
Not really sure how difficult the difficulties really are. I just know the hardest one is very very hard.
