Based just on the sound of the words I think tits [used as a swear when something goes wrong, like damn], eloquent, and retrograde are some of the coolest sounding words.

In terms of actual meaning and sound, disparate is a good word. Inflammable, iron, and nonplus are some of the worst words in the English language.

my favourite word at the moment is interficiebantur. Its latin for they were killed (which isnt the reason why i like it!) it came up in my latin class the other day and i like the way it bounces along as you say it
