I usually have a cup of tea, and sometimes I put some music on too

Works for me.
And a nice shower works well too. Or a nap.

Or all of the above.

If I'm stressed I usually turn on Sim City and destroy a city or go kill a sim on The Sims.

If I just want to relax I'll listen to music and read or write, lie on my bed with the tv on, or just play The Sims.

On the beach at night, smoking a cigar, watching the waves roll in under a full moon. If I'm with a woman, no cigar, but the key parts are beach, waves, and full moon. That's the ultimate relaxation

if i just want to relax i go on a walk blasting my ipod, if its because im stressed i run for an hour and a half listening to jack johnson and death cab for cutie!

i try and get away from whatever is stressing me, people as well, then make room for time by myself. Lying back in bed reminds me of sleep...peace...and listening to music drowns out whatever thought i had... "Bodies" by "Drowning Pool" does the trick for me...all songs by NIN are great also.

Lately i've been relaxing by taking long hot baths while listening to Hildegard von Bingen - and reading the Schlock Mercenary webcomic.

Add a pot of coffee - or a glass of wine, depending on the time of day:

Bliss.

I put on my Ipod to some slowish songs and read a good book.
After a while I'm so caught up with the book I don't even hear the music!

I do yoga. It's amazing how great it makes you feel at the end of a long day.

Or I try on clothes and tell myself that i'm beautiful. Nothing works better than a good helping of vanity.
