I've updated the getDare chatroom. If you can't get into it any more you might want to try clearing your browser's cache.

This upgrade adds no new functionality.

Also just made some improvements to how avatars work in the chat and on the frontpage. They should be much faster to load now. Let me know if anything is wonky there too.

This is a great idea. I'll look into how that's stored and see if it's easy to add in or at very least sync with the existing forums ignore stuff.

Chrome seems to be doing something funky with the handling of the Private Chat windows.

1. If you have a Private Chat open it will consider the window 'unresponsive' and prompt the user to kill it.
2. Users cannot change the colour of the fonts in Private Chat

It does work fine using Firefox though so it might have something to do with the way Chrome treats the applet.

I cant check it now but last time I were on chat there was over 30 users and their nicks did not fit in chat window and I could not roll them to private chat with person of nick started with Z____

You can actually scroll the name list down. It's not very intuitive but it's possible if you click certain areas. It will bring up an up/down arrow

You appended a query string so the browsers are forced to get that file from the server instead from the cache? I hope you don't mind a little tech talk here depp

I'm not sure if this was a personal problem or not: I started a private chat tonight and once that was open, I started getting the "such and such page has become unresponsive" every twenty or so seconds even though everything was working...except for the color changing option, that didn't work.

Probably you are using Google Chrome. If so, update via the bars knob's about page and see if the problem is gone. I had this bug in its old version, too.

Sometimes on the mobile verson on chat it sticks a bit, like you come to look whos online then press the X , it somtimes sticks and makes out like you've pressed someones name, so instead of the online icon disapearing it comes up with someones profile. If that makes sense? This is not all the time but somtimes.
