Default Concerts

I may have made a thread about this before, and I think its more lounge threads than truth, but:

Are you going to any concerts this year?

Are there any you wished you were going to?

Have you been to see any bands more than once?

What was your favourite?

Are you going to any concerts this year?
I am going to see Coldplay at the stadium tour in the summer and seeing Nickelback in the here and now tour on October 8th.
Are there any you wished you were going to?
Nightwish, Evanescence and 30 Seconds to Mars. though more I wish the latter were touring, and wished I hadn't missed the 2nd.
Have you been to see any bands more than once?
I have been to see P!nk 3 times, 30 seconds to mars 3 times, ATL twice, Good Charlotte twice, and probably more.
What was your favourite?
Nickelback and 30 seconds to mars. FOREVER

Are you going to any concerts this year?

I think the only two left are Joan Armatrading and possibly Elvis Costello.

Are there any you wished you were going to?

The Elvis Costello gig is a maybe - my family members didn't know I was into his music. I was gutted when they said they were going to make a weekend away of it and there are some desperate ticket searches going on.There are probably many more of which I am blissfully ignorant.

Have you been to see any bands more than once?

Alice Cooper x2.

What was your favourite?

The Alice Cooper gig I attended two years ago; it was the first time we as brothers went out to a concert in full force. It was also moving to see so many people of so many different age groups, backgrounds and nationalities singing almost every song in unison. Ramstein at the O2 arena is a close second.

For sure, well it depends if you'd call small bands in small venues a concert, I don't. Plenty of those. Biggest I'm going to go to is probably Less Than Jake, New Found Glory, Man Overboard and The Story So Far in Manchester. Very excited.

Are there any you wished you were going to?

Wish Frank Turner hadn't sold out Leamington so quickly. That's annoying.

Have you been to see any bands more than once?

Too many to list.

What was your favourite?

Muse at Wembley in 2010. Perfect.

This year I've already seen Jack's Mannequin, Jukebox the Ghost, and Andrew Jackson Jihad.
I've got tickets to see Jukebox the Ghost (again), Florence + The Machine, and to go to the Firefly music festival. (Jack White, The Black Keys, The Killers, and Death Cab for Cutie are headlining.)

Are there any you wished you were going to?
I really wish Jack White would do a smaller show closer to me. I'd also really, really like to see Fun.

Have you been to see any bands more than once?
I've seen Jukebox the Ghost 3 times. They aren't my favorite band ever, but their shows are often pretty cheap.

What was your favourite?
The White Stripes at Madison Square Garden. Hands down.

Whitesnake I've seen over 20 times. Alice cooper around 10. KISS 5. Gary Moore 6. Most of the others I've seen, I've seen only once or twice. And, thanks to being very old, I saw AC/DC with Bon Scott twice too.

Nothing really planned for this year. But then I'm more of a spur of the moment kind of thing.

Going to the Wacken Open Air metal festival in August. First time. Very excited.

I missed out on a Týr concert a few months back, they were playing in a tiny village I had never even heard of before, and I found out about it only a few days before the gig; too little time to make preparations. I mostly blame the fact that they're just not well-known enough around these parts to warrant some of the bigger venues; then I would've found out about their gig well enough in advance.

A few months ago, I went to a 1-day festival with Dark Tranquillity and Omnium Gatherum, amongst others. Best concert I've been to yet, though I've not been to many, in all fairness.
